The Edgy Grey Pleated Skirt.

This August bank holiday weekend I spent a few days away from the office and away from the usual going on in my life and took a very relaxing break away.I visited my family down in Caherdaniel in Kerry which was absolutely beautiful.It really does put into perspective how beautiful Ireland truly is when you get outside your on surroundings and travel around our beautiful island. It's crazy how much you can pack into just a few days away, I feel like I saw so much of Kerry in such a short few days. From visiting rivers, mountains, fairy gardens,skelligs chocolate factory(I was in awe and everything tasted very delicious) to cafes and restaurants. I don’t think I have ever been on a holiday and taken so many photographs, both being of the beautiful coastal scenery and of me and my family. It’s great to have those memories captured and being able to look at them whenever I can. To say I overpacked would be an understatement, but I think we are all like that. Especially when you are visiting Ireland with it’s bipolar weather. I brought the clothes that I have been wanting to post on my social media recently, I have been loving mixing and matching different styles lately.

I get all my fashion inspiration from Instagram and other bloggers, I don't feel I have one particular style and I like that. Some days I like being more chic and sometimes I like being more edgy and grungy. My style definitely depends on what I am doing and what mood I'm in that day. I absolutely love challenging myself when it comes to fashion and stepping outside my comfort zone.

This is a look that I thought about in my head as soon as I saw this skirt, I loved the idea of pairing a long pleated skirt with a pair of trainers to make it more edgy. Especially with the matching Nike T-shirt and the Zara leather jacket with its quilted and zipper detail.This outfit was very comfortable and it was perfect for the day that it was, a bit cloudy but humid.The majority of the time I had my leather jacket off as it was quite warm but as you all know, we do it all for the outfit post.

This skirt is definitely one that you could style in a variety of ways and each style can be different. It will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe for months to come.

PINAFORES & CURLS!

Hello Lovelies,

Recently I have been absolutely obsessed with ordering and looking up pinafores online and getting my hands on every type in every style I can find...literally. It is truly an obsession and I think it's safe to say that they will be worn again and again all summer long. They are so easy to wear and to couple with an array of different style tops. I absolutely love the fact that they can be worn very simple and classy with a white shirt or laced blouse but also worn in a more 'funky' 80's/90's way with a colourful striped t-shirt.

After getting my hands on this pinafore I just knew what I wanted to pair it with immediately and I just couldn't wait to finally put it on after a long time of study and college exams,and especially after being stuck in pj's and loungewear. This pinafore is so light and not tight which sometimes can be uncomfortable, I love the way it rounds out at the waist and the simple thick straps with round black buttons to tie it all together. When I saw this online I just knew I had to order it as it is perfect as an everyday pinafore that is just simple and is so versatile.

I paired it with this simple grey roll neck jumper and black thick cosy tights which are my absolute favourite as they last forever and actually keep your legs warm.There is none of those awkward situations of realising half way through the day that you have a big rip on the black leg of your tights.(nothing worse)

Now, I don't know if you're going to believe me with regard to this one but can you believe that these brogues are from penneys? They have absolutely stepped up their game recently with regards to various departments but their shoe collection has just blown me away. I got these a few months back but they still have a few pairs left in a few stores nationwide. They look exactly like the higher end brogues you get from brown thomas and for a mere fraction of the price.(usually €300 upwards) I don't have the smallest feet being over 6ft so when I say they are comfortable then trust me they are.

Winter Fashion Wishlist

Hello lovelies,

There are so many brands that are giving us serious lust when it comes to wanting to buy everything that they are releasing for their autumn/winter collections.There are vast amounts of coats, skirts, dresses and even dungarees that I absolutely need in my life. Shops such as Primark, Missguided, Zara, New Look have seriously up’d their game for this season. I thought it would be a great time to show you guys and dolls the type of statement pieces I am hoping to get into my wardrobe over the coming weeks and hopefully get to show on the blog soon.

These fashion pieces definitely focus on the theme of autumn/winter as you can see they have a very warm/cosy vibe and they are all those dark/brown and orange colours which I am loving lately.I have been in awe of some of these pieces since I saw them all over Instagram, that is where I get most of my fashion inspiration recently. Recently I find that my style is just always evolving and I do like to match the trends that are in season especially when it comes to autumn and winter as I am all about those burnt/rust colours and the ease of throwing on a jumper and who doesn't love a bit of layering. How Much Does Your Perfume Describe You? featuring ZARA.

So as you might know if you follow me on Instagram(which you totally should). I was in Dublin recently and Dublin is possibly the best place in the whole of Ireland for shopping, especially because there was sales on EVERYWHERE. I seriously scored some bargains, especially in Zara and Mango. These are shops I wouldn’t shop in frequently as Zara is quite expensive and there's no Mango where I live unfortunately. But anyway, on our last day in Dublin we went back into Zara for the 5^th time that weekend and we spotted the perfume isle.

Now if you know me and my perfume ways, I am 'that girl' that goes into Brown Thomas and Boots and just sprays all the perfumes I can get my hands on. I was blown away by not only the amazing scents they have in Zara but also the price, they look so luxurious yet they are so affordable.

My eyes darted straight for a range of perfumes that have different quotes printed on the bottle. Every bottle has a different quote and is also a different colour. I just loved this idea because you could not only purchase a scent which matches you perfectly but you can also get a saying//quote which might describe you in a more personal way or even one that you think is cute or fun.

I just had to get my hands on these perfumes, After smelling all the scents they have on offer over and over again I ended up purchasing 'Don't Over Think It'. Now I was definitely lucky in relation to the fact that this perfume I purchased stood out so much to me because of the quote which is printed on the bottle. The best way to describe it would definitely be when we find ourselves scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest and you come across a quote which just describes how you are feeling at that moment in time.

 I am definitely a person who over thinks everything, even the littlest things. It is definitely something which I am known for and I feel as though instead of portraying it as something that is a weakness of mine, I feel as though I can embrace it because it is a part of me and I can’t change it. The scent of this is quite summery and sweet but not overly sweet like the scents I usually go for. The scent is described in 3 sections:

Top: Pear: Mandarin and Grapefruit.

Heart: Rose and Ylang Ylang.

Base: Gedar and Musk.

The longevity of these perfumes are outstanding.What I love most about these perfumes is you can get those moments when the scent of the perfume just seems to intensify for a quick second at random intervals throughout the day, and this could be at the end of the night when my normal perfumes are usually long worn off. These perfumes are super inexpensive and I also got it on sale at just €5.99 when usually I think they are around €7.99. These are perfect for treating others to or even yourself. I would totally push you to check them out in stores before they are gone.

Payday Wishlist!

Hello lovelies,

I've been wanting to get my hands on so many things recently which have just lead to an amazing yet very long wishlist that I have saved on my phone. I thought since it's payday for some people it would be a great idea to show you guys some of the things I have been really wishing for this month and maybe give you dolls some idea's or just to have a nose at what I have been interested in because of the recent trends this summer.

Newlook Black Quilted Bagppack - Ive been wanting one of these type backpacks for agesss now and I just think it would be so handy and cute for college. I need one that is durable enough to hold my books but at the same time making sure its not too bulky.

Shoezone Lilley Womens Brown Distressed Look Pull On Boot - I've been looking for a brown pair of ankle boots as I think they are so handy to have to pair with jeans and skirts. The majority of my shoes come from shoezone because the quality is amazing and since I am a tall lady I dont have the smallest feet. These boots are the classic everyday boot and I just think they are gorgeous and so versatile.

'The Denim Skirt' - One of the biggest trends right now has to be the denim skirt, you can get them EVERYWHERE. And I am in love, I am making it my mission to get one this week as I just think denim is so easy to wear, it goes with any type of top whether it is a shirt or a baggy t-shirt. Quay Australia Sunglasses 'LANA' - This brand has been blowing up recently and they are all over my instagram. Their styles are just outstanding and I am in love with the dramatic cat eye'd type sunglasses. They are an australian brand and have amazing affordable quirky styles. They are also available from the ASOS website which is perfect for us girls across the water. They have so many celebrities wearing their sunglasses from Shay Mitchell, Cara Delevingne to Mathew Mc Conaughey.

'The Suede Skirt' - The skirt trend is definitely appealing to me a lot this season, with this amazing weather we've been getting lately how could we not get our legs out! The brown suede skirt has been a total must since 'coachella' and I am so happy it is. With a white cropped top would be just perfect and is such a simple skirt to have as casual day wear or even dress up with a nice pair of heels and jewelry. Wishbone Necklace - I have been watching a lot of beauty youtubers vlogs recently and I have been loving and obsessing over their dainty chains and braclettes. Recently I came across this Irish company that sell these dainty necklases and braclettes that are just so cute and I feel as though they have the cutest necklases that every girl or woman would love to recieve for any occasion. They are so affordable and I have my eyes on the wishbone one as it holds a key meaning in my heart.

I have found the exact one she has and it is from an american site but I have also shown a cheaper alternative which I am also obsessed with. I mean.. who doesn't love donuts??

White High Waisted Flared Trousers - I spotted these when I was up in dublin a few months back and I am still obsessing over them. I have seen them all over the blogosphere and they are just so complimentary and flattering to any body shape. They are also on sale right now so it is an overall winner in my book.

Jo Malone London Fragrance - I recently went into Brown Thomas with a few of my girlies and we were in awe of all the amazing Jo Malone scents. Since then I have been in-love with and needing the light floral scent they have in their store called 'Wild Bluebell'. It is the perfect summer scent for me and I, like most girls love their perfumes. Owning a Jo Malone Perfume is a serious luxury so I am counting my Penneys over the weekend. I would seriously advise everyone of you ladies to go to your nearest Jo Malone Stand/Store and just smell everything. It's a serious experience.

Tarte Eyeshadow Palette - If you watch any beauty gurus on Youtube or follow them on Instagram you would know how much they rave about this palette. It is such a perfect palette for any girl out there whom like myself, LOVE their neutrals and matte shades. It doesn't just have brown shades but it also hass some purple and black shades also. I have been eyeing up this palette for ages now.

Nars Radiance Creamy Concealer - This is a multi-use concealer as it can be used for both covering imperfections on the skin and also what it is mostly used for in the Youtube World is for highlighting under the eye as it is amazing for brightening up the face. If using as a highlighter then you would get a shade which is lighter than your skin tone to really bring brightness to that area of the face. It is also a high coverage concealer which makes it perfect for evening out the skin if covering any pigmentation problems.

Smashbox Pore Minimising Photo Finish Primer - As you all know I am obsessed with my benefit porefessional primer but this has been well hyped as the next best thing. I have been wanting to put this primer to the test for awhile now and I am thinking of trying to get my hands on a sample before buying the huge tube. Smashbox have a range of primers for different skin problems and are definitely worth checking out if you're in need of a new primer.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer - Since we have been massively blessed with the launch of too faced in Debenhams I have been checking out all there products which I have wanted for years now. I am seriously impressed by the huge range they have and the prices aren't as high as I thought they would be. Too Faced are known for their amazing quality and gorgeous packaging and I just can't wait to get my hands on their products. Especially this bronzer.

Kat Von D Shade + Light Eyeshadow Palette - This is a palette which again is perfect for us ladies that love our neutral and matte shades. This palette is just amazing in every sense of the word and is just beautiful. I am a sucker for my neutrals and this is perfect in my opinion. The quality is meant to be insane but definitely an investment.

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate - This is an overnight serum used just before you go to sleep to allow the product to really soak into the skin and to replenish the skin while you sleep. I have heard so many raved reviews of this product that it's a definite wishlist item.
