On Valentine's Day, We Wear Red!

Hello Lovelies,

I know I know, the concept of 'valentine's day' is like marmite, you either love the day that it is, or you absolutely hate it. But let me just say something, which may be a bit controversial..but just hear me out. I am definitely the type of person who loves any day that focuses on romance and love. That's just the type of person I am. Now let me just say, you can't deny that there is no better feeling than seeing someone you truly care about, whether that is your mother, father, best friend, partner, sibling or even your dog (YOU DO YOU!) in awe of the affection and appreciation you have for them. To me, the day isn't about buying materialistic items and upping one another for who can purchase the most or who can buy the most expensive item. It is about just being there, doing something special with one another, we can all admit that with the stress and worries of daily life. Our awareness of the people we love can escape us, we focus so much on the things that are happening at that moment, those deadlines or stresses that hover over us. We tend to miss out on the special moments, we tend to focus on the short term and forget about the long-term effects of our choices.

I mean, what is so bad about having one day dedicated to the meaning of 'love', 'appreciation', 'gratitude'. People focus so much on the idea that it is all about having a boyfriend and a girlfriend, and forget that all is it about is taking time out to be with that special someone or someones. I mean, how could you complain about having a day dedicated to rom-com movies, cooking your favourite dinner and chilling with a cup of tea and a few valentine's themed chocolates? I don't think that could ever be a terrible day. But, of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. if it's not a day for you, then what harm. We all just got to remember, no good comes from a negative attitude, and as much as we may feel frustrated or uninterested, the more negative energy you put out into the world, the more you get back.

My day started with a few hours in university, of course, I then went to brunch at my favourite brunch spot here in Cork. The Liberty Grill has and will always be my favourite spot for breakfast. That night we had a Mexican Fiesta. it's my families favourite meal to cook together and it was amazing to all be together and sit down and just relax. That night, given the day it was, full of Valentine's themed sweet treats and chocolates. I mean, who am I to deny a few heart shaped caramel filled chocolates and Valentine's themed doughnuts? Thank you to Sticky Fingers in Cork City for the amazing doughnut fix.

Believe it or not, I found it pretty hard to think of an outfit which incorporated some red. Red is not a colour I wear often. I tend to stick to navy and blacks. I know they say red is a great colour for redheads, do they say that? I'm sure that's a thing people say, maybe not. My full outfit is Primark. Totally affordable.

Red Bodysuit / Primark

Hope you all enjoy this outfit post and my own opinion toward the concept of Valentine's day. Until next time my dears.

The Bomber Edit: Grease Lightening Vibes.

If you follow my other forms of social media such as Snapchat(@RouxellaBeauty) and Instagram then ye know that I recently took a trip away to the beautiful city of Dublin before returning back to my hectic schedule of lectures and continuous project work. Dublin is our favourite place to go when we feel ourselves needing a bit of TLC and a few nights away from everyday life and before any stressful events are about to come our way. We know our way around Dublin and we have a few key spots which we make our mission to visit every time we are up there. It’s great to know your way around Dublin while also finding new gems in which then become our favourite spots to visit. There is always such a buzz and upbeat atmosphere in Dublin, while also being quite relaxed as your worries regarding everyday tasks seem to drift away for that short time that you are up there. Before going on a trip I like to have some bit of a plan, this may be due to my love of organising events and activities but also to ensure that we get the most out of our trip away. Dublin is the perfect blogger location for its landscape, historical buildings, beautiful architecture and also the dynamic and modern locations such as Camden street and also around the RDS.

No matter what area you are in, there is always something unique and different which serve as the perfect backdrop for those daily outfit photographs. On day two we took a trip to Greystones in Wicklow, which is just outside Dublin. And of course, this was because we just wanted to visit ‘The Happy Pear Cafe’. We took some great scenic photographs and I also set up a little photoshoot in a park in the centre of Greystones. It was just beautiful and made the perfect location. I mean, if you don't take a picture, it didn't happen, right?

It was the most beautiful day in Greystones, as we were travelling on the dart it was almost like travelling along the coast of Greece. The sun was shining on the clear blue sea and the cliffs were sculpted to perfection. When planning a trip away, especially in Ireland, you just never know what you’re going to get weather wise. Therefore, being able to wear this midi skirt was the cherry on the cake.

Dusty Pink Bomber // ONLY. Black and White Stripe High-Neck Bodysuit // Primark (Similar).
Black Mesh Midi Skirt // Awear. White Pleated Socks // Primark (Similar).
White Brogues // Primark. I hope you enjoyed this summery outfit post, as you can see I am trying to keep those summer vibes before winter truly starts to settle in.

Inglot "What a Spice!" Collection is INTENSE.

If you are an avid user of social media like myself then you would have seen that news broke out regarding Inglot Cosmetics new autumn collection ‘What a Spice!’. This was definitely an unexpected release for both myself and Inglot Ireland as there wasn't any buildup or marketing here in Ireland.Having said that, for a collection that had little to no marketing or build up in terms of social media and press releases, the response was as big as ever. Just goes to show how having a big following and an outstanding employer brand goes a long way. It’s safe to say this is my favourite Inglot collection to date. The collection includes 10 new Matte Eyeshadows, 10 new Lipstick Matte and also 5 new Colour Play Lipliners. The shades in this collection are a true representative of those autumnal shades that we love, from browns to oranges to reds and even greys. These rich, powerful and fierce shades are inspired by the spices of the world including turmeric, chili and cinnamon. Inglot have truly spoilt us in more ways than one. They have released various shades in three of their existing product ranges; Freedom System Eye Shadow Matte, Lipstick Matte and Colour Play Eyeliner.

FREEDOM SYSTEM EYE SHADOW MATTE
Containing special silicones and treated pigments to give the intense pigmentation and silky texture that Inglots existing eyeshadows are known for while also promising to be long lasting and crease resistant. As you can tell from the title all the shades in this collection are fully matte, this is due to the eyeshadows oil free formula. I am delighted to hear that they will be sold separately and not just in their usual palette form. This allows us to pick and choose the shades that tickles our fancy without having to commit to particular shades that we might not use. Although saying that, I could definitely see myself using 8/10 of these shades if not all.

LIPSTICK MATTE
If you haven't copped it yet, Inglot are giving us all the mattes this season. And this makes me a very happy bunny. You may ask why I prefer a matte over a satin finish? Easy answer, the formula will last longer. Therefore you get more bang for your buck and you don’t spend your day reapplying your lipstick over and over again. However, there is a common error when it comes to matte finish lipsticks, we must ask ourselves when is a matte lipstick ‘too matte’. And by ‘too matte’ I mean the lipstick formula is very dry and tugs on the lips when applying, thus making any dry skin on the lips very apparent. The Inglot lipsticks however contain Vitamin E, macadamia oil and also avocado oil to prevent this, leaving the lips feeling moisturised and nourished. The formula is said to be long lasting, with the ideal matte finish which glides on the lips with ease and no tugging, leaving you with an even and opaque finish.

COLOUR PLAY LIPLINER
Now being honest I dont purchased a lot of lip liners as I haven't found one that has truly stood out to me as an everyday staple. Having said that,I haven't researched or even looked into what lip liners are the most raved about. But I have definitely heard great and only positive comments on the longevity and pigmentation of Inglots lip liners. Especially the nude shades as they work almost like a primer/base for your lipstick, no matter what the shade. Having quite full and plump lips means that I don't need much defining when it comes to prepping for my lipstick. Lip liners are used primarily for defining the shape of your lips, therefore, making the application of your lipstick easier. The Inglot lip liners come in an array of shades and the pigmentation and payoff of these lip liners is vibrant and most definitely opaque. One of my pet peeves when it comes to lip liners has to be the constant sharpening after every use, Inglot lip liners have a built- in-sharpener and a windup-retractable feature making this tedious task a thing of the past.

P.S Here is the Inglot ‘What a Spice’ collection video.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are as excited as I am to get my hands on most shades in the collection. Inglot are such a high quality yet affordable brand, how could we not treat ourselves even just a little bit, I mean, we deserve it right?  Definitely let me know if you are planning on purchasing any products from the collection!

The Edgy Grey Pleated Skirt.

This August bank holiday weekend I spent a few days away from the office and away from the usual going on in my life and took a very relaxing break away.I visited my family down in Caherdaniel in Kerry which was absolutely beautiful. It really does put into perspective how beautiful Ireland truly is when you get outside your on surroundings and travel around our beautiful island. It's crazy how much you can pack into just a few days away, I feel like I saw so much of Kerry in such a short few days. From visiting rivers, mountains, fairy gardens, skelligs chocolate factory(I was in awe and everything tasted very delicious) to cafes and restaurants. I don’t think I have ever been on a holiday and taken so many photographs, both being of the beautiful coastal scenery and of me and my family. It’s great to have those memories captured and being able to look at them whenever I can. To say I overpacked would be an understatement, but I think we are all like that. Especially when you are visiting Ireland with it’s bipolar weather. I brought the clothes that I have been wanting to post on my social media recently, I have been loving mixing and matching different styles lately.

I get all my fashion inspiration from Instagram and other bloggers, I don't feel I have one particular style and I like that. Some days I like being more chic and sometimes I like being more edgy and grungy. My style definitely depends on what I am doing and what mood I'm in that day. I absolutely love challenging myself when it comes to fashion and stepping outside my comfort zone.

This is a look that I thought about in my head as soon as I saw this skirt, I loved the idea of pairing a long pleated skirt with a pair of trainers to make it more edgy. Especially with the matching Nike T-shirt and the Zara leather jacket with its quilted and zipper detail. This outfit was very comfortable and it was perfect for the day that it was, a bit cloudy but humid. The majority of the time I had my leather jacket off as it was quite warm but as you all know, we do it all for the outfit post.
This skirt is definitely one that you could style in a variety of ways and each style can be different. It will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe for months to come.

Grey Pleated Midi Skirt // Primark
Black and Silver Roshe Womens // JD Sports
T-Shirt // ASOS (Closest match)
Leather Jacket // Zara (Out of stock)
Black Backpack // Primark

Hope ye enjoyed this outfit post, it was a bit different from my usual style.

INSPIREFEST 2016: The Event That Changed My Life.

This time last week I attended an event that completely changed my life. I have never been so motivated and empowered by an event. I still feel so overwhelmed with emotion, it’s not every day that you get to be in a room with some of the most powerful and strongest individuals, both men and women. I feel so honoured and proud that the people at Inspirefest felt I was worthy enough to attend Inspirefest as a blogger representative. The days leading up to Inspirefest I felt nervous, anxious and worried that walking into a room full of such influential and diverse people that I would stick out like a sore thumb and not have enough courage to connect with people. But what I soon realised was that I wasn’t the only person that felt this way. I met so many amazing people that I will keep in contact with for years to come.

Inspirefest was a two-day event from the 30th of June to the 1st of July. Both days were jam packed with amazing speakers and panels, where they spoke on various topics based on the issue of diversity and inclusion. What I loved most about this event was that it wasn’t just women, both men and women spoke on the issue and gave us a look into their own experiences. Speakers from all around the world came together to talk about such an important and crucial topic. It truly amazed me how much women are underrepresented in our society today, both in everyday life and in the workplace. All speakers raised the issue of diversity no matter your gender, sex, religious beliefs or ethnic background. We should all be included and we should all have our voices heard.

Before I begin I would just like to thank the phenomenal Ann O’Dea for creating such an amazing and life changing event such as Inspirefest. Ann is the co-founder of Silicon Republic which is Ireland's number one website for all tech news. There is a long list of all the amazing things that Ann has not only achieved but also done for women in the area of STEM. Ann is such a kind, loving and inspirational woman and without her, I would have never experienced such a motivational and empowering event which has lead me to take on my fears and has opened my eyes to the world of technology and business.

Here are just a few of the speakers that really stood out to me and impacted me in more ways than one;

Brenda Romero Co-Founder of Romero Games
Brenda began by stating that she was a “New Yorker and after 4 shots of espresso”. At that moment I just knew that this was a talk not to missed and that it would be full of non-stop laughter. Brenda’s talk was definitely one of the most humorous talks over the course of the two days which focused on the portrayal of women in the gaming industry. Throughout her talk she had us all in fits of giggles while still bringing attention to the harsh reality of how women's bodies are portrayed in such an exaggerated and sexual way.

She called for the gaming industry to start becoming more diverse. When playing a game, we all want to fulfil a wish or play out a story that we are interested in. We call on heroes in games, there is no reason why women cannot be those heroes. ”Women are not means of ornamentation”.  We need to promote the fact that the first woman was a programmer ‘Ada Lovelace’ and not a man like everyone presumes. There is a great need to change the perception of the gaming and tech industry with regards to inclusion of women.

Sinead Burke Equality Advocate,  Researcher and Writer
Sinead spoke about how she felt underrepresented in the magazines that she read daily. She knew everything about fashion no matter where in the world, but the only people she could share her knowledge with was her family. Sinead then found a friend in ‘the internet’. She brought about the realisation that in 12 years, with a total of 144 issues released there was not one single model of colour on the cover of Vogue.
After seeing the horrific headlines after L’Wren Scott passed, Sinead along with many other people such as myself was outraged that L’Wren was not recognised by her own name and accomplishments, she was recognised as ‘Mick Jagger’s wife’. Sinead started reaching out to many influential woman where she promised not to ask about their husband, children, work-life balance or fashion (unless they were fashion designers). From there she went on to take over the world of fashion. Interviewing Oscar winners, featuring as a guest on the Late Late show and most importantly visiting schools to speak about diversity.

Dr Sue Black OBE
Dr Sue Black is a woman who truly made a change in the world, earlier this year she received an OBE at Buckingham palace for her contribution to technology. Sue used the power of social media to increase awareness of Bletchley Park. If you don’t already know about Bletchley Park then I would highly recommend doing some reading on this amazing story. Bletchley Park produced a secret intelligence which played a huge part in World War II and also the outcome of the conflict. Since then it was untouched and began to be forgotten about, until Dr Sue came along and gave it some much needed TLC.
Through her determination and constant hard work, she used the means of crowdsourcing and social media to make that change and to show the true importance of Bletchley. She used social media to bring awareness and to connect thousands of people together. Not only did she connect people she also proved that we cannot let our past generations fade away into the distance, we must preserve them and continue to spread awareness of our history.

Judith Williams, Global Head of Diversity at Dropbox
Judith focused on the issue of exclusion, how people think they know everything about disability. How there is a high degree of bias with regards to what people with a disability can and can’t do. Judith spoke about the importance of universal design, referring to neo-universal design and how we should focus on catering to the exception. A bad design does not cater for all, it does not take into consideration those who do not fit the ‘one size fit all’ model/image.
People that have a disability are a minority and Judith brought about the true reality that we are all just 1 accident away from being a part of that minority.  This really hit home for me and really made me think about how easy it is to forget that in life, every single second counts.

Kelly Hoey Investor, Laconia Capital
Firstly, I would like to start by saying this woman has truly changed my life. Her words resonated so deeply with me and truly inspired me to go out and show my true worth. Kelly opened her talk by informing us of her reluctance to speak in public and her reluctance to network. If she could change the word ‘networking’ she would, admitting she would much rather go see a dentist than to ‘network’.
Kelly changed her 1st career in 2001/2002 and her second in 2009. Explaining how much she can relate to us millennials, as at that time in her life the economy was just as bad as it is now.
What truly stood out for me was Kelly’s explanation of how we all create our own careers. That our careers only make sense when we look back at our relations. We must put ourselves out there and be in constant communication. She enlightened us on her top 3 tips to be successful in business, all which revolved around the theme of connectivity. Her talk made me want to go out and fight for myself and my self-worth, to not only go out and connect with people but to show them why I work so hard and to show them what I know. To go out, create, create and create some more.

Mary Carty Co-Founder of Outbox Incubator
Mary is an incredible entrepreneur and has an outstanding career background in not only technology but also in the area of arts and innovation. She is the co-founder of the Outbox Incubator, which first took place in London for girls interested in the area of STEM and aged 11-22. They have worked with over 115 girls from 6 countries for over 6 weeks. From this, the girls have not only gained an in-depth knowledge of innovation, technology and business they have also gained confidence and friends for life.
Mary is the definition of innovation, she has been a program developer, a lecturer, a speaker and also works continuously in the public, private and nonprofit sector. She announced at Inspirefest that the next Outbox Incubator will be held in Ireland, woohoo! On top of that, she hopes this idea will spread throughout the world to encourage more young girls to get involved in STEM projects from an earlier age. I have already been stalking the Outbox Incubator website and twitter in the hopes that I can apply and be a part of the next Outbox Incubator.

Elena Rossini Filmmaker, Photographer and Multimedia Producer
There is a million and one magical words I could use to describe this woman; she is a true gem. I have never met a young woman who is so loving and has such a warm heart. In just a few short minutes she made me long for my childhood. The childhood memories of playing with an infinite number of dolls. Receiving a Lottie doll at last year’s Inspirefest opened up an amazing opportunity for Elena to work with the creators of the Lottie doll and create a heart-warming and tear jerking film about this beautiful 6 year old girl from Canada who had the privilege of creating her own little Lottie doll called ‘The Stargazer’ .The stargazer doll was created after her mother contacted the Lottie creators for making such a real and child friendly doll that is a true representation of an innocent child and their passions in life.
Elena transported every single person back to their childhood and made us swoon over her amazing film-making skills.

Carrie Hammer Founder of Role Models Not Runway Models
Carrie Hammer is one of the most inspirational women I have ever met. The impact she has had on so many women’s lives is mind-blowing. Carrie started her career as a sales woman where she heard over and over again that she should dress for the job she wanted not for the job she had. But she found this quite difficult as there was a limit to the clothes that were both fashionable and formal. Because of this she started her own fashion line.
Carrie was the first woman to have a runway at New York Fashion week that included a model in a wheelchair. Carrie found herself receiving emails from a variety of woman explaining their gratitude for her fashion show and also from mother’s that wanted to see more and more role models for their daughters. Carrie has truly impacted the lives of so many people in such a positive way by putting emphasis on the fact that we are all beautiful and perfect in our own ways.

To conclude, I am honoured, grateful, astonished, star struck, determined, overwhelmed, informed, touched and most importantly INSPIRED! Never would I have thought that after two days of attending this event that my life would have changed for the better! It's my time to go out and show what I have to offer, why I work so hard every day of my life, why I study for hours upon hours to get the best university degree I can get, why I put 100% into everything I dedicate my time to. All to get to where I want to be! I am making it my mission to go out and connect with the amazingly talented speakers! To amplify my voice and to be heard! BIG things are ahead for this tall redhead young woman.

I hope you enjoyed this blogpost as I had such an amazing time writing it. To each reader, just know that you are powerful, strong and can achieve whatever you desire in life.

The Liberty Grill Birthday Breakfast...

Hello Ladies and Gents,
It feels amazing to finally get to put up a blogpost after over a month of straight studying and exams. It was a really stressful time as they always are so I'm glad I finished them and I am very proud of all the hard work I put in.

It's a tradition for me and my lovely mother to go to 'The Liberty Grill' for my birthday breakfast. The Liberty Grill is on Washington Street in Cork City and it is a very well known restaurant for their excellent food and service. Being me as always, I had to spend the first half of my morning beautifying myself and I also recieved a present of a princess tiara off my parents. Now you may ask, Chelsea did you actually wear that to breakfast? Well yes, of course I did.

Being a usual Saturday morning there was a queue out the door, I felt like such an American lining up for breakfast. But before we begin, Let me just say, The wait is 100% worth it. There are many things I love about the Liberty Grill. There's not a lot of places that I talk so highly about, but 'The Liberty Grill' is without a doubt my top favourite. It holds a special place in my heart.

Food: The food is definitely outstandingly good. It is so fresh and cooked to 'P E R F E C T I O N', every time I go there it just gets better and better and you just know that your meal has been cooked with real passion and precision. Hands up for the very talented Chefs.

The Atmosphere: The atmosphere is so cool and collected. Even though it is a seriously busy restaurant there is no stress or rush around the floor. Especially now that it is the Christmas season you'd think they would very stressed. Most importantly, they have some festive decorations up and it creates a very happy and festive feeling in anyone who enters their doors.

The Unbelievable Staff: The staff in the Liberty Grill are just one of an kind, they really do work to make you feel special and make your dining experience magical. They are so attentive and are continuously making sure everything is as you like it to be. They are a true credit to The Liberty Grill.

I don't go for breakfast or even to the The Liberty Grill that often as I am always busy with college so I think that is why I appreciate and feel so excited going to the Liberty Grill for either breakfast or even brunch. It's a serious Luxury without the luxury price tag.

I would totally recommend anyone to go have breakfast, brunch, lunch or even dinner. The menu can be seen here( The Liberty Grill Menu ). Especially with it being this time of year, treat someone special or even treat yourself. Make sure you snap a picture of your meal like I did, all for the instagrams.

I hope you liked getting a little peak into my magical morning at The Liberty Grill,

Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick, Yes Please!

Hello Beauties,
Mac has been working on this launch for quite a while now. I have been waiting for Mac to launch a matte liquid lipstick range for the longest time now so when I found out that they have been working on this collection to launch I was way too excited. I’m sure I jumped around my room for way too long because of this announcement. They have still not released much information about the range so I am still in the dark about the date of their launch. All they have told us with regards to when it will be launching is that it is set to release this winter.

But of course I had to do my research and stalk the blogs and Instagram accounts to try and find out more information about the collection. The textures of these lipsticks are described as a rich suede matte finish that is totally blowing up in the world of lipstick finishes. It is a weightless liquid lipstick and its Colour-Flex Technology allows these liquid lipsticks to stay on for over 8 hours. Now that is some serious staying power in terms of liquid lipsticks. I am definitely one of those girls that put off wearing dark colours more often due to being worried about it transferring onto my teeth or wearing off unevenly when I am talking or eating. It also states to be non-feathering; this means that it is not meant to move away from the lip line or seep into those little lines around the perimeters of your lips.

There are colours to be released. The collection includes an array of shades from the really pale pinks to those dark winter shades. I am very intrigued about the darker shades as it is coming into the winter months.

Colours Include;
Divine-Divine (Light Pink Shade)
Personal Statement (Barbie Pink Shade)
To Matte With Love (Coral Pink Shade)
Tailored To Tease (Medium Barbie Pink Shade)
Re-Collection (Lavender Shade)
Oh,Lady ( Purple Pink Shade)
High Drama (Plum Shade)
Dance With Me (Dark Red Shade)
Feels So Grand (Red Shade)
Fashion Legacy (Orangey Red Shade)
Quite The Standout (Pale Coral Orange Shade)
Rich & Restless (Coral Peach Shade)
Mademois-Elle (Pale Pink Milkshake Shade)
Back In Vogue (Light Baby Pink)
Lady-Be-Good (Light Baby Pink)

I Hope ye are just as excited as I am for this well anticipated launch, I am a matte lover so this is music to my ears. Hope ye enjoyed this post!

How Much Does Your Perfume Describe You? featuring ZARA.

Hello Lovelies,
So as you might know if you follow me on Instagram(which you totally should). I was in Dublin recently and Dublin is possibly the best place in the whole of Ireland for shopping, especially because there was sales on EVERYWHERE. I seriously scored some bargains, especially in Zara and Mango. These are shops I wouldn’t shop in frequently as Zara is quite expensive and there's no Mango where I live unfortunately. But anyway, on our last day in Dublin we went back into Zara for the 5th time that weekend and we spotted the perfume isle.

Now if you know me and my perfume ways, I am 'that girl' that goes into Brown Thomas and Boots and just sprays all the perfumes I can get my hands on. I was blown away by not only the amazing scents they have in Zara but also the price, they look so luxurious yet they are so affordable.
My eyes darted straight for a range of perfumes that have different quotes printed on the bottle. Every bottle has a different quote and is also a different colour. I just loved this idea because you could not only purchase a scent which matches you perfectly but you can also get a saying//quote which might describe you in a more personal way or even one that you think is cute or fun.

I just had to get my hands on these perfumes, After smelling all the scents they have on offer over and over again I ended up purchasing 'Don't Over Think It'. Now I was definitely lucky in relation to the fact that this perfume I purchased stood out so much to me because of the quote which is printed on the bottle. The best way to describe it would definitely be when we find ourselves scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest and you come across a quote which just describes how you are feeling at that moment in time.

I am definitely a person who over thinks everything, even the littlest things. It is definitely something which I am known for and I feel as though instead of portraying it as something that is a weakness of mine, I feel as though I can embrace it because it is a part of me and I can’t change it. The scent of this is quite summery and sweet but not overly sweet like the scents I usually go for. The scent is described in 3 sections:
Top: Pear: Mandarin and Grapefruit.
Heart: Rose and Ylang Ylang.
Base: Gedar and Musk.

The longevity of these perfumes are outstanding. What I love most about these perfumes is you can get those moments when the scent of the perfume just seems to intensify for a quick second at random intervals throughout the day, and this could be at the end of the night when my normal perfumes are usually long worn off. These perfumes are super inexpensive and I also got it on sale at just €5.99 when usually I think they are around €7.99. These are perfect for treating others to or even yourself. I would totally push you to check them out in stores before they are gone.

Other Perfumes in the Collection:
Love Doesn't Lie Eau de Toilette 100ml
Friday Forever Eau de Toilette 100ml
One Time Lover Eau de Toilette 100ml

Hope You Enjoyed This Post,

My Top 10 Drugstore Beauty Products!

Hello lovelies,
As ye should know by now I am a major drugstore junkie. I am a sucker for boots sales and I always get caught when I say "I'm only going to go in there for a quick browse". I thought it'd be a great idea to show you what things I love that are from the drugstore and these are things I seriously can't leave without. I have been repurchasing these specific products for months and even years now. Everybody loves a great bargain and we most certainly get that when it comes to drugstore makeup. The makeup brands that we see in the drugstore have come such a long way in recent years and have really stepped up their game. The number of drugstore brands such as Rimmel, Maybelline, Seventeen ect that have come up with dupes to those higher end brands is just music to our ears.

Lets start of with base shall we?

St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub - This is a scrub I use daily to get all that grim off my face that we all feel builds up especially in these warmer months. This scrub has definitely changed my skin and I couldn't live without it. It has been well hyped all over the internet and it definitely lives up to all expectations. I love using a scrub at night as I feel after a long day our skin really needs something that will gentle exfoliate the skin without being too harsh, a product to invigorate the skin and get those blood cells pumping in order to stop any dullness that may occur and of course avoid any build up of dead skin cells around the face especially in the T zone area where we tend to produce more oil.

L'Oreal MLumi Magique Illuminating Highlighting Base/Primer  - This illuminating face primer is definitely a hidden gem of mine. It is perfect for those days/nights when you want a real glow to the skin without looking like a disco ball. This primer is a runny type consistency and it also has a white payoff without giving a white cast to the face. It is a very illuminating primer without having big chunks of glitter in it. I love using illuminating primers as I still haven't found a foundation that is meant to give a glow to the skin without making me look oily. My trick is to use an illuminating primer with a matte foundation and then over top use more highlighter than I usually would whether that is a cream or a powder.

Maybelline 24Hour Pro Matte Foundation - Now if you've seen my Living For It Friday Blogpost then you know how much I have raved about this foundation. This foundation is definitely the best foundation to come out of the drugstore in my opinion. For us girls that love our high coverage but could never seem to get that with drugstore foundations, Maybelline have come to save the day. It is definitely a foundation that is matte and if you have any dryness on the skin you must make sure your skin is well prepped and moisturised. With most foundations that are labelled matte you would think "flat" but in no way is this foundation flat, it almost has this underlying dew to it which just makes your skin look so flawless.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - If you haven't tried this powder before then I seriously don't know where you have been hibernating for the last few years. This is 100% the best drugstore setting powder invented. For any oily girls out there this is a life savior, I tend to get oily around my T-Zone whenever I have foundation on. After a few hours wear we all tend to get a little oily and this just stops any of this. I never seem to have to powder repeatedly throughout the day with this powder. It locks my foundation in place all day and keeps it looking flawless and zero shine. This is the perfect powder for both everyday wear and also for those late night outs.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Milk'- Last year when I found out that NYX was going to be stocked in Ireland it was definitely music to my ears. I have been obsessed with the whole NYX range for ages now and their Jumbo Eye Pencils are definitely my top purchased product. This shade milk is the perfect first purchase of Nyx in my opinion. It is the most amazing base for eyeshadow as it keeps it lasting way longer than if you were to not use any base. It also is a white shade so it brings out the true colour of the eyeshadow and really intensifies the colour of the shadow you are using. It seriously makes any eyeshadow shade x10 times more pigmented than what you would generally get from an shadow.

Sleek Eyebrow Kit in 'Light'- This is my far the most well used product I have in my makeup collection by a mile. This eyebrow kit has both a wax side and a powder side to set the wax in place and to make sure it stays in place all day. This brow kit is a dupe for the 'Benefit Eyebrow Kit'. Its is such an inexpensive kit for the insane quality you get. This kit comes in 4 shades (Light, Dark, Extra Dark, Black) and it is perfect for creating both a natural everyday brow and also for that well defined brow. The wax goes through the brows very smoothly and doesn't make the brows look clumpy. This sleek kit also comes with a mini angled synthetic brow brush, a rounded synthetic brow brush and also a mini tweezers.(How adorable right?)

Bourjois Bronzing Primer Mouse - I purchased this product quite awhile ago and I just can't get enough. The bronzing primer can be used both under your base as a primer for the bronzer and over the base makeup. This is perfect for those days when you want that natural bronzed makeup look without having the look of any powder sitting on the skin. If you are a contour lover like myself then you will be very happy to hear that this is perfect for sculpting out those cheek bones. This is such a universal product as you can use it all over the body, a tip when using this product is to mix some of the mouse with your regular body moisturiser, this gives such a natural bronzed glow to the skin. Another dupe? Oh yes, If you're looking for a much more affordable alternative to the 'Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel' which is €39 then this is a perfect product for you.

NYX Matte Lipstick 'Natural Mauve'- The NYX Matte Lipstick range is just amazing. The longevity and pigmentation of these lipsticks is just out of this world. They last so long on the lips and the range of colours that are available is just mind blowing. Whether you are the type of girl who goes for the more mauvey/brown shades or the type of girl who likes the bright shades they have the perfect colours. This is by far my favourite shade in the range, It is definitely the well known 'Kylie Jenner' shade and I am obsessed. It goes onto the lips very smoothly and even though it is a matte lipstick it doesn't stick or bring out any dry areas of the lips.

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick 'Bare It All'- Wet n Wild is defintiely a brand which have just blown me away. Their products are so inexpensive but most importantly, they give you such value for money with their amazing pigmentation and array of different products. This lipstick is definitely my most used Wet n Wild product. Again it is my favourite mauvey/brown shade and it is a well known dupe for the 'Mac Blankety'. This lipstick lasts ages and I love how different the top of the lipstick is compared to your average triangle shaped lipstick. It goes onto the lips so easily and this range of lipsticks provide a huge array of shades from your vampy/dark colours all the way to the nudey/pinks.

Rimmel Liquid Eyeliner in 'Black Glamour'- This liquid eyeliner has been in the collection for years and I have repurchased this product way too many times to even count. It has an amazing longevity and most importantly, the colour payoff is extremely black. The brush is very thin so this makes it easy to get your preferred eyeliner width, whether you are going for that thin everyday liner or whether you are going for that strong and bold liner. This is the perfect liquid eyeliner and I don't have any reason to go and buy a more expensive one.
