The Body Shop "SPA OF THE WORLD" Collection

Well ladies, The Body Shop have come to the rescue and gave us the ability to treat ourselves and give ourselves that spa feeling in the comforts of our own bathrooms. When I heard about this collection I thought it was a perfect idea as most of us love pampering ourselves. There is nothing better than being able to sit down after a long week and having a major pamper session. And now the amazing people at the ‘The Body Shop’ have given us the opportunity to get that luxurious spa like treatment at home. The concept of this collection is using ingredients from different parts of the world and this collection contains 3 rituals (Relaxing, Revitalise and Blissful).

This Collection includes all the necessities such as a Bath Milk, Creams, Message Oils, Exfoliants, Masks and even a Body Mask Brush. SPA OF THE WORLD Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath 250G
First of all, how cute is the litlle wooden spoon it comes with? The formulation in the bag is a powder, you add 2/3 spoonful’s into your bath and this will then foam a little and after a few minutes it turns the water into a milky type consistency. It contains three oil extracts which leaves the skin feeling smooth. The milk ingredient used in this formula is sourced from Egypt and leaves the body and mind in total relaxation mode. // Here



SPA OF THE WORLD Massage Oil 170ML
This Massage Oil is available in 4 different scents, each belonging to one of the 3 rituals. All used for relaxing and soothing our body and minds to its full extent.



Thai Lemongrass (Revitalising Ritual)
Thai lemongrass is used for revitalising the body and mind due to its scent which is well known for boosting vitality and awakening the senses. The purpose of this message oil is to use when you want your body and mind to feel re-energised. // Here

French Lavender (Relaxing Ritual)
From the theory of King Charles VI of France and his love of filling his pillows with lavender in order to fall into a deep and peaceful sleep. Lavender is well known for its ability to relax the body and encourage a sense of well-being. // Here

Tahitian Orchid (Blissful Ritual)
This formula is a blend of Vanilla with ylang ylang and also patchouli, which results in a scent which tantalises the senses and entices the body and mind. This oil is meant to leave you in a state of happiness and bliss. //  Here

Polynesian Monoi (Blissful Ritual)
An idea from the women of the Pacific Islands, these women cherished Monoi to get that luscious and glowing skin and hair. A perfect blend of coconut oil and tiare flowers to bring the body and mind to a paradise filled with luxury and bliss. // Here


SPA OF THE WORLD Body Clay 200ML
The clay range is used all over the body in order to get rid of any dry skin cells to allow the rejuvenation of new skin cells and to also tighten and firm the skin. There are two types of Body Clay's available:



Moroccan Ehassoul (Revitialising Ritual)
A skin firming body clay which contains Ehassoul Clay. This Ehassoul Clay was treasured by the Moroccan Women. This is a mineral enriched mask and is perfect for allowing the skin to feel more firm and tightened. As it is part of the Revitalise Ritual, it is used to really re-energise the body and mind and leave you feeling refreshed. // Here

Charcoal Body Clay (Relaxing Ritual)
We all know that charcoal is a well-known beauty secret for drawing out all the impurities in the skin. This body clay is used in order to draw out not only the impurities in our skin but the tension and stress we tend to feel now and again. This as a result is meant to leave the body and mind feeling relaxed and really loosen up that tension that tends to build up in our body's overtime. // Here

Scrubs are amazing when we want to take off all that dead skin and old tan and even when we want to feel like a new person with baby soft skin. There are 2 different types of Body Scrubs available in the range.


Dead Sea Salt (Revitalising Ritual)
This Scrub contains high mineral content and the salt crystals in this scrub are more on the coarse side so it used for the body and may be too rough for the facial area. It leaves the skin feeling fresher and it really encourages circulation to give that rejuvenated look and feel to the skin. // Here

African Ximenia (Relaxing Ritual)
This body scrub has the ximenia oil from Namibia which is taken from the ximenia fruit seed which results in a rich luxurious oil. Use this exfoliator to truly relax and step into a world full of tranquility. // Here



SPA OF THE WORLD Japanese Camellia BODY CREAM 350ML (Relaxing Ritual)
This Body Cream is used to soften and really moisturise the skin from the camellia oil which was taken from the Japanese women in the 8th century. This body cream hydrates the skin and leaves it feeling nourished while transporting you to a place of relaxation and peace. // Here

This cream is formulated based on the Hawaiian women and there constant exposure to such intense sun rays, the women of Hawaii have for years used the kukui oil in order to keep their skin looking and feeling nourished.
