PINAFORES & CURLS!

Hello Lovelies,
Recently I have been absolutely obsessed with ordering and looking up pinafores online and getting my hands on every type in every style I can find...literally. It is truly an obsession and I think it's safe to say that they will be worn again and again all summer long. They are so easy to wear and to couple with an array of different style tops. I absolutely love the fact that they can be worn very simple and classy with a white shirt or laced blouse but also worn in a more 'funky' 80's/90's way with a colourful striped t-shirt.

After getting my hands on this pinafore I just knew what I wanted to pair it with immediately and I just couldn't wait to finally put it on after a long time of study and college exams, and especially after being stuck in pj's and loungewear. This pinafore is so light and not tight which sometimes can be uncomfortable, I love the way it rounds out at the waist and the simple thick straps with round black buttons to tie it all together. When I saw this online I just knew I had to order it as it is perfect as an everyday pinafore that is just simple and is so versatile.

I paired it with this simple grey roll neck jumper and black thick cosy tights which are my absolute favourite as they last forever and actually keep your legs warm. There is none of those awkward situations of realising half way through the day that you have a big rip on the black leg of your tights.(nothing worse)

Now, I don't know if you're going to believe me with regard to this one but can you believe that these brogues are from penneys? They have absolutely stepped up their game recently with regards to various departments but their shoe collection has just blown me away. I got these a few months back but they still have a few pairs left in a few stores nationwide. They look exactly like the higher end brogues you get from brown thomas and for a mere fraction of the price.(usually €300 upwards) I don't have the smallest feet being over 6ft so when I say they are comfortable then trust me they are.

Back to College Fashion Must Haves

Hello Lovelies, It’s that time of year when we all get excited for not really getting back to college unless you’re like me and love college. But it’s that time where we all love to get all our new things whether it being beauty related, fashion related or my favourite..STATIONARY.  For this blogpost I thought it would be perfect to share with ye what fashion basics I will have in my wardrobe which are perfect for college and everyday life. The items which I feel are a staple in my wardrobe.

I am definitely a person who loves to have the basics and just style them differently. I am definitely an outfit repeater so when I find something which I feel looks amazing and feels comfortable then I wear it and wear it and wear it again. Penneys/Primark is definitely the shop where I buy the majority of my clothes, especially the basics. They are so affordable which is perfect for us students. There are also a few surprises thrown in there aswell(just to spice things up).

1.Check Shirt - No matter what the season I always love my check shirts. They are so easy to style with jeans and a plain t-shirt.  They are also very versatile; you have so many options with regards to how to wear them. You can wear them normally over a plain t-shirt, around your waist and even under a jumper with the collars out. Penneys/Primark is definitely killing it with their check shirts this season as they have them in a variety of colours and styles. // Here

2.Stripped T-Shirts - I have been obsessed with stripes lately. I feel as though they are so stylish and affordable. They are perfect with a pair of jeans to get that perfect casual look. I cannot deny that it always makes me feel like I am a Parisian lady when I wear anything with strips. They are also available in Primark/Penneys at just €5.//Here

3.Blue Denim Skirt - I got this skirt a few weeks back and I am so inlove. They are great for every season as they can be worn with and without tights. And they can be styled with any top, whether you want to wear a baggy jumper, a plain t-shirt or even dress it up with a simple blouse. I got mine from Primark/Penneys but I cant see it on the website so I gave a similar one from topshop. //Here

4.Blue & Black Jeans - The absolute staple in everyone’s wardrobe is of course a pair of jeans. I live in jeans and I always reach for a blue or black pair depending on which pair is washed. Jeans are so easy to style and are so versatile as they can be worn casually or dressed up.
//Here
//Here

5.Tights - I absolutely love wearing skirts in autumn with tights and boots. Tights are a staple for me when it goes into the colder months as you can still get away with wearing your favourite skirts and shorts without the worry of having bare cold legs.  //Here

6.Camel Coat - Now this is the item which is on my autumn wishlist as I came across this coat in New Look last week and it was love at first sight. Such great value for such amazing quality, I can already tell that this season for me is going to be all about Coats and Jackets and this is definitely a piece which must be added to my wardrobe.
//Here

7.Plain Tee’s - I have so many of these in black, white and even grey. They are so easy to style with either skirts or jeans and also high-waisted shorts. They are so easy to just throw on with a cute necklace and you are ready to go. //Here

8.Turtle/Roll Neck - These are a new addition to my wardrobe as I always thought they would never suit me and they wouldn’t suit my face shape. But since I found them on sale in new-look during the summer I am always adding to my collection in a variety of colours from black to grey and even a nude/beige which I absolutely adore and wear all the time. They will be a life savour in these colder months as they will not only keep my neck warm but they also look very stylish with a leather jacket and a pair of jeans.  //Here

9.Black Boots - Boots are a necessity in the colder months no matter what style, especially when we are coming into these colder months and our footsies will be freezing. I love a pair of black boots as they are so versatile and go with any outfit. Whether you are going to be wearing jeans or even a black skirt with tights, they just look good with everything. These Chelsea boots are available everywhere but I get mine from ShoeZone for a bargain price of €16.99 //Here

10.Bomber Jacket - How obsessed am I with jackets and coats this season? I put all the blame on Sarah Ashcroft. She is an absolute babe, she is a fashion/beauty blogger and posts amazing outfits which make me want to just buy everything she is wearing. I adore the khaki green coloured bombers that are available from misguided and I am totally putting an order in as soon as I go back to college. //Here

11.Scarfs - I absolutely love these scarfs. They are so cosy and easy to just throw on instead of the regular scarfs where you have to wrap it around more than once and I always struggle to get it looking perfect. I always find that the regular scarfs are never thick enough to keep my neck warm whereas these are the perfect thickness without looking bulky. // Here

12.Leather Jacket - I was never one for the leather jacket look until I got this one from Zara. This Leather Jacket is just amazing and I literally wear it any time I leave my house. It makes an effortless casual outfit seem like you actually put in a lot of effort. They can be worn casually during the day but they are also great for dressing up an outfit for that day to night easy look. // Here

The Perfect Pout!

Hello Lovelies,
When doing my makeup on a typical day I usually tend to use just a lip balm or gloss because I am normally in a rush due to being a typical girl I tend to get carried away when listening to music and I end up taking forever. But recently I have been really into doing my mauvey/nude lip, whenever I do this lip I always end up loving it and I always tend to go for this combo.
I cannot deny that this lip look is inspired by the amazing Kylie Jenner. Her lip colour is always on point and it gives me seriousl lip inspiration whenever I see her snapchats and her pictures on Instagram. We all know by now that she is known for that bold mauvey lip .

The higher ended Lipliner I use is from Mac of course and it is in the shade ‘Whirl’.This Lipliner is very well hyped in the beauty community. When I was actually buying this Lipliner it was recommend by the makeup artist as being one of the Lipliners that Kylie uses. It is definitely more brown toned instead of pink and it is just perfect in my opinion for really giving shape to your lips. I love this shade as it gives more dimension to the lips instead of being just a one coloured nude all over. This Lipliner lasts ages and it is so easy to use. It glides onto the lips very smoothly but it isn’t too creamy to the point where it just spreads all over the lips.

 Mac Whirl Lipliner // Here

The lipstick I have absolutely obsessing over is the Penneys/Primark lipstick in a nude shade. This lipstick doesn't have a name unfortunately but it is the only nude that is available in the range I believe. Can we just take a minute to appreciate the gold packaging? The packaging is just so luxurious and the quality is very sturdy. I would seriously buy the whole range that they have available just because of the packaging. I am insanely impressed with the emphasis to detail they have put into their packaging. For example, the way you can see the shade of the lipstick at the bottom of the lipstick packaging. The lipstick has a matte finish and the longevity of this lipstick is definitely good for such an affordable price. Can you believe this lipstick only costs €2? Definitely a must have!

I would definitely recommend you guys to go check out these two lip products as they are a major must have for me! Hope you guys enjoyed this blogpost.

How Much Does Your Perfume Describe You? featuring ZARA.

Hello Lovelies,
So as you might know if you follow me on Instagram(which you totally should). I was in Dublin recently and Dublin is possibly the best place in the whole of Ireland for shopping, especially because there was sales on EVERYWHERE. I seriously scored some bargains, especially in Zara and Mango. These are shops I wouldn’t shop in frequently as Zara is quite expensive and there's no Mango where I live unfortunately. But anyway, on our last day in Dublin we went back into Zara for the 5th time that weekend and we spotted the perfume isle.

Now if you know me and my perfume ways, I am 'that girl' that goes into Brown Thomas and Boots and just sprays all the perfumes I can get my hands on. I was blown away by not only the amazing scents they have in Zara but also the price, they look so luxurious yet they are so affordable.
My eyes darted straight for a range of perfumes that have different quotes printed on the bottle. Every bottle has a different quote and is also a different colour. I just loved this idea because you could not only purchase a scent which matches you perfectly but you can also get a saying//quote which might describe you in a more personal way or even one that you think is cute or fun.

I just had to get my hands on these perfumes, After smelling all the scents they have on offer over and over again I ended up purchasing 'Don't Over Think It'. Now I was definitely lucky in relation to the fact that this perfume I purchased stood out so much to me because of the quote which is printed on the bottle. The best way to describe it would definitely be when we find ourselves scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest and you come across a quote which just describes how you are feeling at that moment in time.

I am definitely a person who over thinks everything, even the littlest things. It is definitely something which I am known for and I feel as though instead of portraying it as something that is a weakness of mine, I feel as though I can embrace it because it is a part of me and I can’t change it. The scent of this is quite summery and sweet but not overly sweet like the scents I usually go for. The scent is described in 3 sections:
Top: Pear: Mandarin and Grapefruit.
Heart: Rose and Ylang Ylang.
Base: Gedar and Musk.

The longevity of these perfumes are outstanding. What I love most about these perfumes is you can get those moments when the scent of the perfume just seems to intensify for a quick second at random intervals throughout the day, and this could be at the end of the night when my normal perfumes are usually long worn off. These perfumes are super inexpensive and I also got it on sale at just €5.99 when usually I think they are around €7.99. These are perfect for treating others to or even yourself. I would totally push you to check them out in stores before they are gone.

Other Perfumes in the Collection:
Love Doesn't Lie Eau de Toilette 100ml
Friday Forever Eau de Toilette 100ml
One Time Lover Eau de Toilette 100ml

What's In My Bag?

So recently i have converted myself from a backpack kind of girl to a handbag type of girl. Now of course when i have a lot of things to carry or even if its really bad weather that day i do prefer to take my backpack with me. But most days i love my new (celine-esque) handbag from of course, my favourite place on earth!! Pennys/Primark for just €11. I love the mono-chrome look to it which in my opinion is always in style and it is most definitely in style this autumn/winter. Now i must admit, it does take time to get use to having a bag hang of your arm but it is so worth it.

This bag is very spacious on the inside and it holds all the stuff i need for college and everyday whether im just going to town or to my friends house ect. It also has a very flat pocket in the front which is perfect for your student ID, your phone and any necessities that are compact and that you find yourself reaching for a lot,

So enough on my amazing bag, whats in it?

Of course i always have to have my purse in there, whether its for college for my I.D or just in general for my cards and age card.

I then have my planner, this is so useful for me as i find i can plan my meals ahead of time so i don't binge last minute. This is also good for writing down some blog ideas and if I have any plans which will take place next week ect as I'm quite forgetful.

I ALWAYS and i mean always have to have my phone charger in my bag, the battery my I Phone is the bane of my life, so no matter where i go my phone always decides to go dead and i have to search  high and low for a plug.

A few pens thrown in there from college will always be there.

GUM! gum is a saviour for college and anytime really! I love getting the big tubs of gum as they last forever and you don't feel like you need to keep them all to yourself because you might run out, "Sharing Is Caring Ladies"!

Depending on if its the weekend or during the week i will have a refill pad in there for college as i am always taking notes in the lectures and always have to write something down.

Earphones are so handy in college especially when you're in the labs and you have some time to kill and you decide to watch a movie or even a tv series! lifesavers when you're in college.

I Have to have my 'flo' which is the exact same thing as a travelo, Its perfect to have at the end of your bag to spray during the day no matter where you are, i find it very useful for college and mostly if I'm going on a night out.  How it works? you spray some of your favourite perfume at the moment into the bottom of the flo which twists off.

And of course some receipts, which just love to lie around at the end of my bag! clutter, clutter, clutter!

Blank Canvas Cosmetics

WHERE HAVE I BEEN? yes i know, no excuses i have been terrible! but i'm back for good!

This review is about a few brushes that i purchased around christmas time from Blank Canvas Cosmetics! I heard so many reviews from irish youtubers and bloggers about these brushes and I never really got the chance to order makeup online but i was so excited for this to be my first real purchase! The delievery was really fast, i'm gonna say like 4-5 days i believe. The website has a wide range of brushes and brushes sets and also eye shadow palettes and blush palettes. I was in aweeee!

I got 5 brushes and also a blush/contour pallete! I seriously love everything i got and i was so happy with the service and the quality of these brushes! I really like building my collection and i am just overall happy with the company.

My favourite brush that i got was the  'F22 HD DOME FACE BRUSH IN METALLIC PURPLE'. It is a really dense and compacted brush which gives a lot of coverage to your foundation and really buffs it into the skin instead of it just sitting ontop on the skin. It is also a rounded top so it can really fit and 'swirl' into the creases in our faces. Its also very soft and it is handmade from extra soft high quality synthetic fibers and whats even better? It is 100% cruelty free!!
€13.99

Another face brush that i got was the 'HOT PINK F20 FLAT BUFFER BRUSH'. I use this brush for either my power to really make sure my powder it being pressed onto the face instead of moving around the product that's underneath. I also use it for foundation if im going for a more natural look as it isn't as dense and compact as the brush above. I first thought when i ordered this it would be a bit more compact but i am in no way disappointed as it makes the skin look so flawless.
€13.99

The first eye brush i got was the 'E24 FLAT SHADER BRUSH' OMG! i cant even get over how much i love this brush, ever since i got it nothing else is as good as putting on my base eyeshadow. It evenly distributes the eyeshadow, it pacts it on so its vibrant and it's also extremely soft! I seriously need to get another few of these cause if i lost it i'd be devastated!
€6.99

The  'E25/26 BLENDING DUO' brush is just amazing, I use the E26 to distribute the eye shadow into the crease and give it a little blend and then, just before i'm finished i go in with the other side to make sure there isn't a defined line. This blends my eyeshadow so beautifully like no other brush i have found and the E25 side is also good for powdering the under eye concealer and to get a defined/strong contour at the side of your face,This brush is so soft like all the others and this brush is made from natural goat hair.
€10.99

And last but not least the 'F10 SMALL SOCKET BLENDER'. Since ive gotten this brush they have come out with a newer version called the 'E10 SMALL SOCKET BLENDER(SYNTHETIC VERSION)' This is now a holy grail product for me! It makes it so easy to get a defined crease and gets into those places that might be difficult to get with a normal blending brush. This brush is very soft and is a must for us girls that don't have a very defined crease.
€6.99

As you can tell i am delighted with these brushes and there hasn't been any shedding during the 6 months i've had them. These brushes are extremely versatile and affordable! They are top quality and at such an amazing price!! The service was amazing and was such an ease, especially when you're not use to ordering products online, The website is outstanding, so clear and informational!
http://www.blankcanvascosmetics.com/ . I cant wait till i make another purchase ,there is just so many brushes to chose from!!

A New Modern Look!

So this blogpost is a bit of a change from the others that I've done.
I recently changed my whole look with my glasses, I went for a more modern and bold look. For about a year or 2 years now i always wanted the geek style glasses. So I just went for it and made a trip into my local specsavers in the city center. Making this change was not as easy as I thought as I had quite a few options to choose from and picking one was just not easy at all. The good thing was I knew what style I wanted to go for but when I went in I was amazed by how many modern, bold and safisticated style glasses they had in store.

For the last 5 years now I've always went for the boring rectangled shape glasses, which I did love and never had any complaints about them. But as I've gotten older I've felt the need to have a more safisticated look and a more 'in trend' look with my glasses. Almost like using my glasses to my advantage and making them an accessory.

I have to say that the people in specsavers are so nice and helpful with trying out glasses and looking for the style you want. The also have so many offers in store and SOOOOO many styles for any age. So props to specsavers!!

So my new glasses are called Tristan 24881838, these are actually the men styled glasses but they are perfect! I can't even get over how much I love them and how chic and safisticated they make me look! It's like wearing the cinema 3D glasses after taking out the plastic parts. It also makes me feel like I can still wear my glasses in pictures, I don't feel the need to take them off.

I have finally got the act of contact lenses, now i do normally where my glasses when i need them for television and school, but when i do go out for parties and such i do prefer to where contacts!!(when i can afford them haha!)

Hope you enjoyed this review on my new glasses,

Give Me Moisture!

For this blog i'm going to talk about my new favourite moisturiser, i've been looking for a really good moisturising moisturiser for ages now and i just couldn't find anything!

Until... i started seeing the moisture match moisturiser by garnier on television and getting reviewed a lot on youtube. I just had to try it! So looking through the different types of moisturisers they have for each skin type on the garnier site and in the pharmacies i am really amazed by the great selection they have.

They have Protect and Glow for normal skin, Start Afresh for the normal/dry skin, Goodbye Dry for dry/ very dry skin, Wake Me Up for dull skin, Shine Be Gone for combination/ oily skin. So as you can see they have a very good range of moisturisers for the youthful and ever matured skin.
Link To Garnier Moisture Match

The one i have is the goodbye dry moisturiser, even though i have dry combination skin i think it works perfectly at hydrating my skin and really giving life to my skin. It is a very rich consistency without being greasy on the skin and it also smells amazing! My skin doesn't look as dry and flat anymore, i feel as my skin is lifted and glowing. My skin is also quite sensitive and its perfect, it doesn't irritate my skin what so ever! As the winter months are drawing closer and closer i feel i am getting like dry patches on my cheeks and i feel that this moisturiser really absorbs into the dry patches and they cannot be seen on the skin when foundation is applied which is amazing!

This moisturiser is so amazing and hydrating for such an affordable price at €5.99 in boots, definitely worth a try! Link to Garnier Goodbye Dry Ultra Hydrating Rich Cream

All About The Lips!

So here it is, everything i do for my lips.

So my first step to soft kissable lips definitely has to be my lush lip scrub in bubblegum, this product right here is a must to everyone who loves their lips baby soft! i would normally do it two or three times a week depending on what state they are in that week, as it has started to get cooler those nights i can already tell my lips are getting dry due to those autumn and winter months that are about to come. This scrub is the perfect texture and consistency to get at those dried bits around the lip lines without irritating the skin. And the most amazing thing of all is that it really does taste like bubblegum, they also have a popcorn flavour which i have still yet to try out! This lip scrub is the best i've tried and it at a very affordable price.
Link To The Lush Bubblegum Lipscrub

The second step is definitely a daily routine something i do every night, every morning and everytime i feel i need it!It's moisturizing the lips, my favourite is of course vaseline, preferably with aloe vera. I feel it does its job amazingly and it is so widely available. I also love the body shops born lippy watermelon lip balm. Its very creamy and tastes amazingggg! I guess i'd have to say that flavour is a very big issue for me, if i dont like the flavour no matter how good it is i wont stick to it and wont enjoy having it on so having these lip balms that have an amazing flavour and do really work at moisturizing the lips is great!!

To be honest i don't really use a lip primer that much, i don't feel as their a necessity. I did try a gosh one but I feel the lipstick stayed on the same time as it would if i didn't have the primer on.

My favourite lipsticks at the moment are very different in colour but are amazing and long wearing. The most worn lipstick i owned would be macs 'Creme Cup', i am so devastated that i have used it all up and haven't had the money to repurchase a new one! The finish is a cremesheen and as it is very drying on the lips if you have the previously steps done its WOWZA! It is the perfect colour for any skin tone, i am pale and it worked amazingly! I'm very sorry i don't have a swatch photo for you guys as soon as i get it i'll put it up!!
Link To Macs Cremecup

My second most used it a recently bought lipstick but very used, it is the maybelline colorsensational in 140 'Intense Pink'. This lipstick is very creamy and matt, i seriously love it for everyday nude pink and have to pick up a new one ASAP! I find that it isin't as matt as the mac cremesheen which is good as they tend to be very drying on the lips. The packaging is also very fancy which i like!

Throughout the summer months my must have lipstick was the catrice lipstick in 260 'Its a matt word'. It is an amazing dupe for macs lipstick lady danger! I was going to buy it untill i found this and i now own 3 of them as im scared they will be discontinued. It is a very matt lipstick but i got so many compliments on the colour, its the perfect red and was very 'in' this summer. I dont think ill ever find a red colour i like as much as this.
Link To Catrice Lipstick

Last but not least is the revlon super lustrous lipstick in the colour 663 'Va Va Violet' . This lipstick is a purple/wine based lipstick and is a very vampy looking lipstick! I'm inlove with it! It is also a matt lipstick and compliments any skin tone. Throughout the autumn and winter months this is gonna be very popular and a must have for us lipstick lovers!
